while I did enjoy this book quite a bit, it was definitely a filler sequel so nothing really major happened. there was no clear plot or goal in mind, but regardless, I still found it entertaining. alizehs pov was definitely my favourite and kamran is genuinely getting in my nerves. cyrus better be endgame

absolutely loved this woven kingdom and was so excited for the sequel.
around halfway through i realized the book would all take place in one day. or one night and one day. and whilst i don't hate those type of books i usually feel like they don't take you anywhere. that there is never enough progress in the story.
Cyrus: when i started reading about cyrus i was very intrigued and also from all the tiktok's and reviews, i was so excited to read about him and Alizeh. i was scared that Kamran would get painted as the villain, since the other serie of Tahereh mafi had the first love interest sort of become the villain in a way i was afraid the same thing would happen to Kamran, whom i love . but getting to know cyrus over the course of one day, was not what i expected i find it unbelievable that someone who's supposedly as ruthless and closed up would open up so much so soon. the idea built around him deflated way too fast. also isn’t he just like a warner copy/ paste but with magic?? i mean he’s blond for gods sake.

redemption for my man’s kamran
