Since Goodreads no longer trusts me to add a new edition when needed, I am writing this here. I listened to an audiobook, not an audio CD. But it's the right narrator, Dan Calley, so this is closer.
Green has taken the Excaliber and Arthurian myths and reworked them to his own liking. I enjoyed the book a great deal.

I love these books because they are a fun, quick read that is full of action and humor. I read them in between heavier books or just when I need a break from the other books I'm reading. In this one, the legendary Excalibur has come to the Nightside in a plain brown postage wrapper straight to John Taylor. It seems it has a "Destiny" for him that he just can't refuse and it includes elf battles and knights in shining armor.
I felt this was one of the stronger Nightside books. There is a definite formula to these books, and it can get tedious if you read them all back to back. It's not the best book ever, but if you are looking for something light to read this series is a winner.

This one was probably one of my favorite reads in the Nightside series. I loved the bonsai dinosaurs, and I would love to have one of my own. The story of Excalibur was a lot of fun, and Sinister Albion is probably one of the most horrifying scenes Green has written. The only thing really keeping this one from 5 stars is my complaints about the series as a whole: lack of explanation about some of Taylor's powers, especially his eye-freezing power; speeding up and skipping over the development of his and Suzie's relationship; forgetting his own canon (although that wasn't as much of an issue as it usually is).
