A fun read. Since I saw her in Up in the Air my impression of Anna Kendrick has been "now there is a slightly awkward girl I could chat with". I ❤️ when authors read their autobiography, she was no exception. She seems sincere, quirky and real throughout the book, exactly what I would expect based on my own made up impression. She is funny, self deprecating and I would like to draw her name for Secret Santa.

Can Anna be my friend already? She’s hilarious and her jokes are smart. Her writing is honest and relatable.

You ask almost any guy who their dream girl is and they'd probably say Anna Kendrick. She's tiny, sexy, smart, talented, beautiful, quirky, and funny. This book reflects that. There's nothing really meaty in it; It's an easy, breezy, light read. Some of the chapters are really superficial (like the one on fashion) and the book as a whole is definitely geared towards young women (even dishing out dating advice). Big things I got from this book is she loves sex, is a total pothead, and doesn't want children. So the dream girl just got more dreamy.

Interesting insight into Anna's life before and during her celebrity status. And told in true hilarious, awkward Anna Kendrick style. I loved listening to her narrate it too, it truly felt like we were sitting together as friends chatting and catching up. It did get a little boring towards the end, and I didn't care for all her opinions on fashion, awards shows etc. What I liked were the little behind the scenes tidbits about her movies. Overall, a quick fun read.
