What a beautiful ending to a series. I have been waiting for this book since we first met Rory and Jax all the way back in the don’t let me series. I’m so sad this series is over but it couldn’t have ended a better way. The tension was set from the very beginning and I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it to break. Kelsie executed Rory’s OCD in such a realistic and relatable way. It wasn’t something to be ashamed of, it was something that you face and sometimes you have good or bad days.

I think a book with such a large age gap can be hard to do well. Personally I am always hesitant when an age gap is involved. However, in this case it was done perfectly. It’s VERY clear where the lines were when they were young and how they are navigating where they now find themselves.

While it is sad to say goodbye I am excited to see what is in store for the future of the Kelsie Rae Universe!

Thank you to Kelsie Rae for this ARC!

Kelsie knocked it out of the park with Jaxon & Rory’s story, it was WELL worth the wait 🥹

From the very beginning, you could feel the tension, the want, and the yearning for each other even from afar. The progression of their relationship from the beginning of this series to now was fantastic, they have both grown SO much over the years. I was interested before reading about how the age gap was going to play out (with their history) and Kelsie did phenomenal. I was so happy for them, individually and as a couple, that by the end of this that I was in tears!

I loved the OCD representation, especially involving Rory taking care of Poppy. As a mom who suffered from PPA and OCD tendencies, I felt so seen and understood.

Related but also side note - I’m sad to see the little things series come to an end, the found family in this series, as well as the first generation Don’t Let Me Series, is truly some of the best I’ve EVER read in all of my time reading. Kelsie truly has a talent at writing some of the best characters who make mistakes, grow from them, and go on to do so many great things & they are so much fun to read about! Each book of hers that I pick up is better and better.

Thank you so much to Kelsie Rae for the opportunity to receive and review an eARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and review 🧡

The way I have been waiting for this story since the two of these characters came into the Kelsie-verse and let me tell you, their story did not disappoint! I found myself down the rabbit hole of the Kelsie-verse a couple years ago and since then she has been an auto-buy author for me, and I can’t wait for the next book. This book was so worth the wait.

Jax and Rory had a connection ever since she was a baby, Jax was the only one who could settle Rory, that connection just grew the older they get and they turned into best friends, at least for Jax. Rory’s feelings went a bit deeper. Until one night when their relationship fell apart. And Rory vowed to stay away as much as she could.

Jax is a single divorced father of an infant daughter, Poppy. His main goal in life is to be the best father he can be and focus on his new career as an NHL head coach.  Until he sees Rory again for the first time in years.

Rory is at a crossroads in her life, a recent college graduate, who came home for the first time in years for her brother’s wedding. When Rory unexpectedly volunteers herself to be Jax’s nanny.

Enter the constant push and pull between them, as Jax tries to not fall for Rory and Rory tries not to let her childhood crush come back. However it is inevitable, the way Jax supports her and when that man falls and decided to commit, he went all in.

As sad as I am to see this series come to an end, this book was an epic way to end it. I was lost in my feels the entire time I was reading, I cried, I laughed, I swooned, I just could not put this book down. As always, I am excited to see the next adventure Kelsie has in store for us.

Thank you, Kelsie Rae, for the ARC of this book.

I'm so sad that The Little Thing Series is done. I fell in love with Rory and Jaxon's story. This book has the nanny trope and best friends Little sister and bosses daughter. Rory and Jaxon hasn't seen each other for a long time and a lot has changed but those feelings for each other. Rory tried to push those feelings away but it didnt work and being the nanny to her childhood's crush daughter didnt help. I love how Jaxon was with her when she needed someone even with his insecurities. The way he defended her and declaring his love. I can't wait for her new series!
