had low expectations for this book honestly, but turns out I enjoyed it a lot. funny at times, although not all times, probably of different sense of humor. odd, but interesting writing format, and I understood the story completely. it’s quite a refreshment from the books we usually read (long sentences, long paragraphs).

⭐ 3,75/5.

What a weird and interesting book. I haven't read a lot of books like this, and it was really refreshing to be surprised by what was in the book. I liked that you could tell the atmosphere of this workplace just through messaging. In this place. It was slack messages but it could have been letters or text messages. I think this was a really interesting take on office life and work from home. If you haven't read it, I don't want to ruin it. But in the first few sentences you realize that somebody has got stuck in the slack app and they'd like to get out. Everybody else in the office thinks this is a joke and kind of talks around it. I found this book to be unsettling and weird and still you wanted to read more. Even though this book had a larger page count. It was very short because everything was written as slack messages and usually single sentence slack messages are not very long.

I have NEVER read anything like this. I wish I could go back and read this in a classroom setting because there are a million things I want to talk about. This book was funny but also dark and also dystopian but also so deeply modern. I could envision these characters perfectly despite no real character descriptions. It was like reading a play but digital. Very very cool

I read this in two sittings and laughed out loud many times but/and this is a book with basically no real content. Great filler between heavier reads that require brain cells.
