Super gory but also confusing. Maybe I was too distracted.
Yeah, no. This book just wasn't for me. From the writing style, which felt like the author was trying really hard to write a teenager's story only from what he knows teenagers are like from the internet, to the humor, which was just very ill-timed (with lots of weird sexual innuendos), unnecessary and out of place for me.
At this point I am not even looking forward to reading again, and I can't get into the book at all. I just don't care anymore. Which is a shame, because the blurb got me really excited about some Stranger Things vibes, which I love!
