5 stars doesn’t even begin to display my absolute affection for this novel. This book has to be my new favorite book by a long shot. It makes me want to go back and rethink all my other 5 star ratings, because I don’t know if they compare to this masterpiece. This book was one that made me both laugh out loud and sob, which both are fantastic qualities that mark amazing writing skills. I adored the dynamic between Jas and Ivan, and I’d been saying forever that I think it’d be impossible to have an ice skating partner you don’t fall in love with unless at least one of you is gay. This book perfectly encapsulated everything I imagined and more when it comes to my idea of an ice skating romance, and who doesn’t love a good enemies to lovers story? I’ll recommend this story to everyone in the world, because it’s such a quick read due to its fast pace and it’s the perfect heartwarming story that gives you all the emotions. Screw 5 stars, this book deserves 100!!

No but I love this 😭, I always feel a bit weird reading romance that’s not on a fantasy setting for some reason but the banter, the slow burn, the enemies to lovers but above all the friendship 😭

I really enjoyed this read overall. I got hooked into the plot easily, and I loved the “take no shit” nature of Jasmine. The one thing that made this book not perfect for me was the amount of fatphobia and body shaming included. I get that it’s a sports romance and that figure skating is brutal to the bodies of skaters, especially women. However, I think the writer could’ve easily taken those parts out and we’d still have a complex main character and an incredible read.

This book was just a really really cute read, I really enjoyed it.

I do have to say it took me a while to get into it because the first 100 pages or so are so slow, i almost fell asleep, and almost dnfed it. But I'm glad I didn't because it was really good!

Ivan and Jasmine's chemistry was just super cute, the fucking tension between them was just wow

This is a VERY VERY slowburn romance, so if you like that, this book is perfect for you.

Did I cry when reading it? Yes, multiple times so that just gives this book more points.

Overall really liked it, though some of the internal rambling of the main character could have definitely been clipped because damn, she speaks a lot in her head lmao
