What can I say other than the tv show is better. Love the characters (there might be too many minor characters too keep track of, so they all blend into one person for me). Like the style. Mystery was original.

I like the main police characters but very frustrated by the amount of time spent reading about the killers and their thought processes. In book 2, the author didn't do this and the book was much more compelling and the police work was the focus.

I enjoyed the references to places that I know well. The mystery aspect of the book was not interesting at all. The nostalgia I felt for North Bay could just not over come the hohum of the plot line.
