This book is really really good! Not too heavy on the science part but enough to make everything seem plausible. An incredible page turner!

- Uppouduin tarinaan täysin ja se oli ihan helvetin jännittävä
- Myös ihan vitun ahdistava lopulta ja jätti sellasen tunteen että mitä väliä yhtään millään on, ja en tiedä onko se hyvä asia kuitenkaan
- Vituttaa kyllä jotenkin aina se, että miten koko maailman kohtalo oikeesti muka VOI olla yhden tai kahden henkilön harteilla, ihan ku joku muu ei ois voinu tehdä samoja asioita?????

I loved this just as much as Dark Matter, maybe more. I really liked the focus on how human the characters in Recursion were. Was fun to think about how memory was being used throughout the book- it gets confusing, but in a good way! I'll probably be thinking about this book for a while. Can't wait for his next book in 2021.

A tale of two halves. The first half was five stars, riveting, and very creative. Then there was a slow part, followed by a second half that was very different from what I expected, maybe a 3 1/2 overall. The ending saved it somewhat, though my boyfriend and I both wanted a bit more creativity out of the ending.
