As always, I’m left wanting more—and that’s a good thing! I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the Landry family. I want to spend more time with Jonah and Lauren. To make sure Tom’s health stays good.
To hopefully see Meg happy one day with her HEA. There’s so much more I want to know about these imaginary people. They make my heart smile.
I received an advance copy from the publisher. All opinions are mine and have not been solicited.

What a sweet story!
Lauren and Jonah are happily in love and planning a big restoration of a barn for a venue. Lauren falls from the ladder and when she wakes up, she has no memory of the summer. No memory of falling in love with Jonah.
The story centers around this event with Jonah hoping Lauren recovers her memory and Lauren hoping she doesn’t. She has a dream job waiting for her back home — she doesn’t need the distraction of love!
Told with some flashbacks, you get to see how they fell in love in the first place as well as witness the aftermath of Lauren’s accident.
Well written and both Lauren and Jonah are super relatable.
Thank you to the author and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

Thank you NetGalley, HaperCollins Christian publishing and Denise Hunter for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I was lucky enough to get the ebook and audio book. I read the first 25%, listened to about 50% and read the rest.
Lauren has overcome a lot and is extremely focused on her career and securing her dream job. She just needs to get through a 9 month temporary position at a small family run rustic resort.
Jonah has had his heart broken by someone leaving him for a job in the city. He and Lauren get off on the wrong foot and he keeps pushing her buttons. It takes months to get beyond their contentious relationship.
Fast forward to them being happy and Lauren loses her memories from the last several months in an accident. She has no idea why Jonah is “suddenly” being nice to her. Johan is devastated that the woman he loves not only doesn’t remember their love but essentially wants nothing to do with him.
I loved the dual timeline and how the story came together.
I enjoyed this book and was so glad it didn’t go down the love triangle road I thought it was going down. It had me in my feelings but also had some humor. I generally prefer at least a little spice but it wasn’t that noticeable that there wasn’t any.

My first Christian romance and I adored this. The plot was great and very realistic. I loved how relatable this was. Lauren’s character had some childhood trauma to work through and I admired her strength and perseverance. The ending was really sweet and well done.

This book makes me so happy! Definitely one of Hunter's best (and that's saying something).
When I started reading it, I panicked for a mo' that I'd done my usual: start book 2 or 3 in a series without having read book 1. It felt like I came into the middle of a story already happening (which, granted, is true); I also hadn't read the back-cover copy in a hot minute, which would have clued me in as to what the plot and conflict might be. LOL. So there's that.
Once I figured that out, I was hooked on both the characters and the story. Even when the MCs annoyed me a bit, it fit in with the story and how they might be feeling/reacting to plot events. And everyone needs a Jonah Landry in their lives, truly. #swoon
Fans of Hunter's other books, especially the Riverbend Gap and Bluebell Inn Romance series, will undoubtedly enjoy this read.
A very, very good read, and a perfect way to finish out the summer.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

What a beautiful heartwarming book ❤️
Lauren and Jonah are happily in love and seem ready for a future together but when a bad fall causes Lauren to forget the last few months (and their whole relationship), everything is left up in the air.
This story depicts love, patience, faith and heartbreak.
I would definitely read more of her books.
