i loved the authors note and how this was a story told through her family.

the story itself was good.
it had nice writing and interesting characters.
i enjoyed it.

what is godhood against the need of a child to save her brother? nothing, i tell you.

the revolution had left the farm in ruins, and there was no money to be had. the world was supposed to be new, but everything felt scorched and worn.
