This book was utterly unhinged it best and yet strangest way possible. Is sexy, sweet and deranged a genre? Because this book belongs in it 😂. Sloane is fearless, a psycho and strong all in one. While Roman is sweet, brutal and loyal. I’m telling I was so confused by this book but I loved it, I don’t know what that says about me 🤣. There was like 2 and a half chapters of just one smut scene. JUST ONE SCENE! And I have to give it to Sloane, that woman is a multitasking queen while I can’t rub my head and stomach in anything but the same direction 😂. Excitingly waiting for the second and hoping it’s as insane!

Overall, I enjoyed this book. The banter amongst the characters (not just the MCs!) and first-person narration honestly made me LOL, and the plot was a great vibe. I think the slow-burn aspect of their romance could have been executed better, but whatever. Some of the bedroom talk feels very Wattpad and reads I'm a dark and crazy serial killer and super edgy, but I'm invested in the characters enough that I'm willing to look past it... they're just having fun. I'm sure it's a very different experience as an audio book, so I'll consider revisiting it in that format. :)
