I just absolutely adore this series. It was so nice to see Vlad come into his own character after just being the scapegoat/coming relief in the other books. He is the absolute sweetest and biggest teddy bear of a guy.

A lot of the issues between
Vlad and Elena were just an issue of not talking to each other about their problems which is honestly a super annoying plot point to me. I really loved seeing how they finally started working things out together instead of just holding each other at arm's length and being stubborn.

Also does anybody else wish that every man in their life would read these books? Letting men, and extremely masculine ones at that, being open, vulnerable, and willing to talk about emotions is so helpful and I think it's important for guys to know that's okay! It's normal!

Anyway I absolutely love this series and if we're lucky enough to get another book, I want it to be Colton's 🤞🏻.

Disappointing that the only racial diversity was the cop (ugh). Nashville is more diverse than that!

Loved this combination marriage of convenience/marriage in crisis book. Vlad has never been my favorite side character, but he turned out to be a wonderful main character. There is so much more to him than we got to see in the first 3 books.

At first I wasn't sure what to think about Elena, but the further into the book the more Ioved her. She's been through so much but she loves so intensely. I loved how she cared for Vlad.

This book wasn't quite as steamy as some of the others but it was still quite romantic. I loved watching the story unfold.

This series has been so wonderful. If you haven't read it you really must. But start with book 1. While they work as standalones, they are better in order.

Listen, if Lyssa Kay Adams keeps writing yeehaw leftists I'm gonna have to become a yeehaw leftist myself. I thought I'd dropped the Texas bs behind but this series got me on a country music bender for FIVE MONTHS.
Vlad is such a softie and Elena is so strong and so sad. Man all they do is cry about each other I love them so much. Idiots to lovers but make it a married couple. I'm soft
