A story about a young apprentice in Boston working for a suspected traitor for the Sons of Liberty. The book’s vocabulary was dense and took away from the action of the storyline. The ending was also disappointing and lacked closure on the story. I used this as accompanied reading for our Revolutionary War study with my 10 yo. I think it would have been more appropriate material for age 12 or 13 as independent reading. All in all an interesting story, but not a favorite.
