Great to see a sci-fi rom where the heroine is a capable warrior rather than a kidnappee! There isn’t enough of that in the genre! I wanted more development between the characters tho. It was great for a short book, but I could have used another 50 pages.

I cannot wait for the next installment. I love the urgency Beckett installs in readers, as though the Xakul are a real threat, even to readers. Great book!
