The book is so much different than the movie. But I really enjoyed it, it was more intriguing and the characters were more interesting.

The story was somewhat novel and entertaining however at times it felt particularly immature and occasionally a bit gratuitous in regards to certain scenes or plot points that could've been entirely ommitted from the book without altering the story or character development at all.
