To help keep all of the X-Man series straight (there’s going to be six in total, for now at least), this one includes; Colossus, Storm, Magneto, Nature Girl, X-23, Nightcrawler, Jean Gray, and X-Man.
This issue basically shows what the X-Men would be like in a perfect world. Okay, maybe not a perfect world, because in a perfect world you wouldn’t actually need superheroes. What I mean is if they were in a world where they were accepted as heroes instead of only ever seen as mutants/monsters.
It was an interesting issue, though it did feel a little too upbeat in a sense. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, so to speak. I fully expect some twist to come about and mess things up, it’s bound to happen…right?
