▪️New adult/YA crossover contemporary romance.

Well, that happened… These books completely took over my life, and I am not even mad about it.
Joey and Aoife are just everything and more. The intensity of their love, the banter, Aoife’s unwavering support, the heartbreak, trauma and the hope all had me in an absolute chokehold.
Even though the story happens in the same timeline as Binding and Keeping 13, the tension still had me glued to the page as we now see everything from Joey and Aoife’s perspectives.
And to borrow Edel’s words: “I love your family Joey” Each and every one of you. Especially you.”
If you’ve been looking for your next obsession, let this be your sign. Start The Tommen Boys series. You can thank me later when you’re as hooked as I am.
“Because when you hurt, I hurt. When you burn, I go down in flames with you. We're entwined, Joe. We're mirrors. Don’t you get that by now?”

This ended Joey and Aiofe's story perfectly, you never would have expected how the ending turned out, but overall this was an AMAZING book.

So grateful for the happy ending in this book. Joey's story is gutwrenching. I had to skim through a lot of the book, it was exhausting reading 750 pages of dialogue and horrible things. It was Joey's perspective of the tragic events from Binding 13 and Keeping 13. The only thing that made rate this a 4 ⭐ is Gibsie coming back towards the end of the book. I love his character and the group of friends so much. These books are sad and too long but they suck me in somehow.

Oh man. This book pissed me off to no end, but shit if it's not the best character work I've ever read than I dont know what is. I really hated the plot development in this one for a bit there, but it all came from a place of loving Joey's character so much and just wanting his happy ending. By the end of it I even loved that this is the way Joeys story progresses. The last quarter of the book had me openly weeping on and off (both happy tears and sad ones) and I just feel so proud of him.
