⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 — okay listen…
Redeeming 6 wrecked me in the best way. Chloe Walsh had me feeling EVERYTHING—crying, smiling, clutching my chest like I was right there with them. The growth, the heartbreak, the healing?? Unreal.
But that ending? Girl. I closed the book like this cannot be how we’re leaving things?? After surviving THAT rollercoaster, I really needed more. More closure, more emotion, more… something. It wasn’t bad, it just didn’t match the energy of the rest of the story, and that’s why she’s losing that .25 star.
Still, this book owns me and the series is forever living rent-free in my head. Just know if you read it, you’re signing up for pain, tears, and a whole lot of emotional damage 💀 but in the best way.
4.8/5
This series so far has been a rollercoaster. Some of the books have been ok, one book was brutal, and this book was the best imo.
Saving & Redeeming 6 were the two books in Joey & Aoife’s story, and I loved them infinitely more than Shannon & Johnny’s books. Redeeming 6 was heartbreaking, (this was the first book in the series I shed a tear or two), it had very serious topics and overall was a very heavy read but it was worth it.
There was so much beauty in the pain in this book. I think the author did a great job at depicting addiction, the good the bad and the ugly of it and not only how it affects the character who is dealing with, but how it also affects their loved ones. I enjoyed reading the journey that Joey and Aoife go through, and I think the characters were perfect for each other.
The downside of this series for me is that I don’t think I would recommend the first two books in this series but they are needed imo to read the third and fourth books.
As always with this series, the author is stillll extremely repetitive and could do with some serious editing.
Overall, I enjoyed this book a lot, and is my favorite in the series so far; however, read with care because it is by no means a light read.

This installment delivers a continuous stream of heavy, emotional moments with little break in tone. While it wraps up Joey and the Aoife'’s arc, the constant string of hardships without lighter beats made it feel more exhausting than immersive at times. The first two Joey books balanced weight with moments of humor or relief, but here that balance was missing, leaving the emotional load feeling relentless.
