The idea was cute, but the execution only ok. I think it simplifies life too much. Especially because most of us don’t walk through it alone. There are children, parents, siblings to consider, who depend on us more or less depending on the situation. But if your looking for a simple, quick read, I’d recommend it.

Das Buch zeigte mir die Probleme meiner derzeitiger Lebenssituation. Das ich mich in dieser Phase gerade befinde, war mir nicht so extrem bewusst. Deshalb danke ich dem Zufall (dem Zugausfall, dem kalten Wetter und der kleinen Buchhandlung in Berlin Südkreuz) als ich ganz spontan das Buch entdeckte und mich an eine, glaube ich, gute Rezension erinnerte.
Ich denke man muss bereit und offen für das Buch und die Sichtweisen sein, dann findet man es gut. Ich sage nicht, dass man direkt den Kurs zur Selbstfindung buchen soll. Die Sichtweisen hat der John nicht erfunden. Aber als Denkanstoß über das eigene Dasein, kann man gelesen haben.

The whole book could've been just one sentence: do what you love and don't let others intervene with that. 
He f*cking wrote several parts on this topic and it sells like crazy. In Germany he's almost always in the Top5 bestsellers. it's insane.
