I loved this collection of short stories! It was so cute to get more information about all the characters! Now I NEED Chain of Thorns even more. How am I supposed to wait until March or later???

This is a fantastic set of short stories. I love how it transitions to the new generation in the Last Hours series. All of the characters seem amazing and this collection makes me really excited for Chain of Gold.

The lesson stayed with Lucie for a long time. She never blamed Jessamine for not knowing there was a fourth kind of spirit. Even if Jessamine had known, she could not have prepared Lucie for the fact that meeting him would change her life forever.

Really looking forward to more Jesse content in CoI. He was one of my favourites (who am I kidding? The whole cast of characters were my favourites) throughout CoG2. I forgot how much depth every singular character has in this series, it's insane. My Shadowhunters knowledge just resurfaced and won't be satisfied until it catches up with everything that is going to happen in Chain of Iron. Miss Clare, please bring forth that book. I'm ready to devour it. Pretty please? *insert teary eyed emoji*

But, you know who I really miss? Church. And Jem. Preferably together. But that's what we have The Wicked Powers for.
