Had some pacing issues but I'm glad I read it.

it's fellowship of the ring  with a 65% opacity filter applied and that's okay! Jordan is clearly finding his voice here, and i'm excited to read the next one. I will admit that I lost interest by the end. It's too much! we don't need to battle such evil guys and meet the green man in book 1. Maybe because I know that there's 3000 more of these books, but it feels like we go from bumbling sheep herder to hero in like, two pages. anyways, it's a fun book and i enjoyed it.
