Action packed!

“And I’m no fu***** princess. I’m the goddamn queen.”

Wow this book was completely cheesy and extremely unrealistic BUT was an easy page turner. It was a great book to waste my day on lounging in bed and binge reading. I enjoyed it as it had interesting characters, a strong female lead who completely bad***. I really enjoy the storyline and the plot with the twists and turns of who’s the bad guy and who’s a good guy. I will be continuing the series despite the ridiculousness of these high school kids.

  • badass FMC that doesn’t take bullshit, can fight and owns her sexuality
  • MMCs are misogynistic and their double standard makes me angry but it’s not a deal breaker
  • the mom is so ignorant and selfish it makes me angry so i love when FMC sasses her
  • FMC not a virgin which is nice as it is fairly abnormal for these types of books
  • intriguing plot - i hope there is a reason the guys act this jerky because if not that will be a letdown
  • the casual violence feels a little off, but i don’t love gang tropes as it is
  • i’m fairly motivated to read the next one

It's becoming harder and harder for me to really sink my teeth into books these days and Siobhan Davis has always been one that has easily captivated my attention. However it has taken me quite a bit to get into Resurrection.

I don't believe it has anything to do with her writing ability at all, but more me not being in the mindset for it. The beginning of this book (and series) starts off with a bang. ... pun intended ;) and things are twisty turny throughout.

I'm looking forward to reading from the beginning again now that my mind is ready for it and all it has to bring.

“Careful, princess. Don’t poke the beast unless you’re prepared to play."

Holy. Fucking. Shit. This author will be the end of me. Seriously. I have loved Rydeville Elite series, but this one? It has the potential to be much darker, edgier and I'm loving the hell out of it.

Resurrection is a reverse harem, dark, bully romance with enemies to lovers trope. And man, with all of these fave tropes of mine in one book and given how talented the author is, I don't know how I'm going to survive this. Already, the story had me on the edge of my seat with its suspense, dirty secrets, betrayals and action. Not to mention our badass heroine, Harlow and her equally sexy and mysterious men, there was never a dull moment here. There were a lot of twists and shocking turns that I didn't see coming. This author will really had you questioning and thinking of theories all throughout but still coming up short (I never even got close! Ugh!). Again, with the ending, I'm going to need the next installment, asap!

Ok WHAT IN TF did I just read?!?
Siobhan Davis, you’ve done it again.
At this point, I shouldn’t even be surprised.
Resurrection...WHEW...where do I start?
This is more than just your everyday bully, RH, enemies to lovers romance...and can I just take a moment to swoon over like almost all of my favorite tropes all wrapped together in one mind twisted package??
The Sainthood crew; Saint, Galen, Caz, and Theo...don’t even get me started on them...hot doesn’t even begin to describe them.
Harlow was simply a bad ass boss bitch, point blank period. I’m in awe of her.
I have so many highlights in this book it’s ridiculous. Because Siobhan Davis didn’t just give you a romance...she gave you one hell of a suspense with this one. She handed you all the puzzle pieces broken and scattered for you to put together. As you lock in every bit of intel to try to decode you’re hit with another piece of the missing puzzle. Nothing is as it seems and just when you’re trying to wrap your head around all the secrets and bomb drops, she hits you with the cliffs to end all cliffs. One that leaves you with your jaw on the floor and your heart in you stomach. Like holy shit, I’m honestly left speechless. I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.

I DEVOURED THIS BOOK. IT WAS CHEFS FREAKING KISS. the plot was insane, keeping me on my freaking toes every second just wanting answers!!!! the boys were HELLOOO love those sainthood boys with my whole heart, i couldn’t pick a fav. and LO!!! oh my gosh im literally in love with her. even though she’s been through terrible things, she’s been able to overcome those obstacles and be this badass, confident, loyal protagonist that I just love so much.

Immediate thoughts…

Pros
1. I love Lo, a take no shit, strong, sex powered MC absolutely!

2. Love all the guys, but still trying to decide who I like more.

3. So intrigued with the plot and really like the writing. I like to be surprised and don’t like predictability and this one has kept me on my toes.

Cons
I really don’t have any atm… excited for book 2

Apparently, I didn’t review it the first time... weird.
I am so in love with this world already.
The twists, lies, steam and banter all have me super invested in all the characters.
Of course Saint and Harlow are my favourite but I can see the appeal of the other guys too.
I can’t wait to read book 2, again.
