This was a pretty sweet manga. It’s about this class president in a school that is 80% boys and 20% girls. She’s strict and wants the girls to feel safe and comfortable at school. But she has a secret. She dresses up as a maid and (sort of) role plays in a cafe. Sorry for all those people who thought this was smutty - it’s not at all.

The main character is pretty intense sometimes but she gets flustered by Usui who is flirty with her. She does have her charming aspects about her. Her boss is actually super sweet too.

The story is funny but does take a few serious turns that resolve itself relatively fast. There are some cliches but they’re not annoyingly done so it’s good with me.

The art style was surprisingly good. I was expecting something that was clearly from the late ‘90s with giant poofy hair, huge eyes, and sharp jaws. This has everything but the hair. It’s refreshing tbh because the author draws facial expressions in a way that reminds me of manga done recently.

Better than I expected.

This was such a throwback to all the shojo manga I read in high school. Yes, the sexism is problematic. Yes, there is a love interest who is more like a stalker than a proper boyfriend. Mid 2000's manga at its finest.

I still enjoyed it though.

I really enjoyed this book, The writing was okay and the paced of plot was fine also I really like the cover of book. I like the characters but I feel at they needed to be flash out bit more and I think art style was fine. I feel at somethings in the mange haven's aged well and I think I enjoyed the anime more.
