adventurous inspiring relaxing medium-paced

this was a fave of mine when i was a kid and i’m re-reading now with F Bomb (05/17/21-06/23/21) and prepared to hate it… as it turns out, it actually wasn’t terrible?

I've never really given in to the whole "little girls are princesses" trend - I've left that to Ariel and Belle and Jasmine. But I loved this movie growing up, and reading it for the first time now I love the book too. I love Sara's interpretation of being a princess as someone who is always kindhearted, hardworking, generous, optimistic, and loving. I'm sure this will be a book I read over and over, whether by myself or with children someday.

This book was so well done. Your emotions will go on a rollercoaster ride while reading this story. I highly recommend reading it.
slow-paced

A childhood favourite that I remember reading for comfort (only child things) many times. I will reread it as an adult one day..

I wish more people would read this book or that I had it to idolize as a small child. It’s not just about being a princess but about demonstrating kindness and fantasizing life. We need that.

I own a copy of this book with mmy name and 1997 on the first page. I wanted to re-read a childhood favourite and it was everything I remembered.
