I wish we would've gotten more of Jameson and his uncle because his uncle seemed like a really decent guy compared to Jameson's dad. Hopefully in the 5th book, we see more of that relationship.

Maybe I missed something, but I don't see why Jameson was so reluctant to tell Avery that his grandmother was still alive. Other than the whole inheritance issue, I don't see how it was a huge deal. Avery doesn't want the money anyway lol.

I also spent most of the book texting my friend - who hasn't read this series, mind you - "If Grayson doesn't get a happy ending, I'll riot".

The author is very, very good at making you really FEEL for these boys and their individual plights very viscerally. I fell HARD for both Jameson & Greyson's battles to figure out what "family" was to them.

It was good but I was expecting more. I think we finally got to dive in the brothers more. But all the new people made it hard to focus on everything. I want to know how the family ends up and what eve is doing but don’t love the idea of reading another book about all of them.

First of all, WHY was this book written in third person? The whole point of this book is to get a novel from the brother’s perspective and because of the way it was written we weren’t able to get inside their heads as much as I wanted to.
Jameson’s storyline fell flat for me. It felt irrelevant to the overall plot of the series. Jameson and Avery’s chemistry was also lacking. The new characters of the Devil’s Mercy were not very compelling so the twists at the end weren’t very surprising or interesting.

I enjoyed Grayson’s storyline a lot more. This book did an adequate job of explaining a lot about why he acts/thinks the way he does due to the way he was raised and his past traumas. I loved his sisters and seeing their relationship build.

I enjoyed the ending with all of the brothers coming back together.

ALSO I HOPE EVE CHOKES.

and what happened in Prague????!
