I started reading this series when I was 11, so needless to say, it was perfect for me at the time. However, as I’ve grown up a bit since the first book came out and I read it, the books aren’t as made for me as they once were.
I really wish that this was a completed series when I was younger, because it’s just so amazing. It deals with the complexities of friendships and growing up so beautifully.
As I’m not the target audience for this book anymore, I didn’t connect with it as much as I would have when I was younger, but still found it to be well-written and enjoyable:
