The second instalment continues six weeks after the Paper Girls. Enjoying this series so far. Fast, easy reads with dark crimes and humour thrown in for good measure.

This series is a wild ride. I am really enjoying these books and jeez the descriptions of some of the murders are grizzly to say the least. It has a bit of everything humour, sadness, laughter and action packed police work. And of course a crazy psycho killer!!!

Must read series
Absolutely one of the best British police procedurals/crime I've read. I've stayed up way too late because I've not been able to put down any of the books in the series. The characters become so incredibly well developed as the books continue and the dark humorous dialogue of Clare that is intertwined in the seriousness is amazing. Rarely do I get excited when a book is 400 pages and sad when I'm almost at the end of it.

K prvnímu dílu, i když mě bavil, jsem měla jisté výhrady, ale Zlý pes je skvělý.
Tahle kniha v sobě nezapře lehkou inspiraci Psem Baskervilským a to je dobře. Díl od dílu jsem nadšenější. Postavy jsou sympatické a komplexně zpracované, příběh má spád a nic není, jak se na první pohled zdá. Chemie mezi postavami funguje, děj je promyšlený a dotažený, plný napětí, takže je knihu skoro nemožné odložit. I když jsem se z počátku bála, aby nebyla zápletka kopií jiné knihy, není tomu tak, je originální a skvěle zpracovaná.
Tuhle sérii můžu vřele doporučit. A já sama se už teď, nemůžu dočkat dalšího dílu.

Brilliant, terrifying, hillarious, horrific, heart-breaking, amazing! I laughed, I cried, I was terrified, sometimes on the same page. Everything is 5-star in this book, from the story to the characters, and trust you me, I am not easily satisfied when it comes to either.
