Symphony for a deadly throne closes in the Mousai series - in my opinion, rather nicely, tying up loose ends from the previous books and having Arabessa find love with Zimri.

Personally, I was surprised
that this time around, the two love interests had already gotten together - so the struggle was more about staying together over serving one’s duties.

Personally, I find Zimri and Arabessa a pleasant couple, though their chemistry never did all that much for me. The main plot is in my opinion however the strongest of the three books, if a bit weirdly paced.

This third installment of the Mousai series was amazing! I have been looking forward to Arabessa and Zimri's story and EJ Mellow did not disappoint! We got a deep dive into the workings of the Thief Kingdom we have learned about in the previous two books. We meet new characters, while still getting to know old ones. All in all this was a wonderful conclusion to a very underrated series!

Substantially better than the other two books in the trilogy. There is actual conflict between the two main characters and the plot interacts with their relationship in interesting ways. It is all still a bit too neat and fait accompli. With that said, I'm totally here for a Kattive Volkov. She steals the entire show.
