This third book of the Mousai sister's series. Ara's journey and resolution were perfectly bittersweet. Action-packed with a surprise at every turn. It was filled with twists and turns and some steamy moments. The fmc was so strong and I loved her conviction and attitude. They had excellent chemistry and I felt their heartache. It’s also really great to see the continued development of the other two sisters. The author is a very talented storyteller.

I would love to thank NetGalley for this ARC. I love love EJ Mellow’s writing, as I always say it feels like home. Arabessa is definitely the sister I most resonated with and boy did the tension and frustration in this book drive me crazy but the ending was worth all the pain and suffering from these bloody characters decisions. I was absolutely hook at about the 30% mark and could not put it down and finished it within hours.

Mellow has outdone herself again and I cannot wait to see what she puts out next! Congrats on the wrap of this beautiful trilogy!

1 star taken away for the “female character gives up her powers for a man” trope

While I did not end up liking this series as much as I thought I would, I loved the dark world of this trilogy and I feel a little sad because I will miss these sisters. There’s a little spot in my heart for them.
