This is ultimately one of the most comprehensive call-ins that directly calls white women to do better. I honestly think that every white woman should read this text, interrogate their own reactions to what Jackson and Rao are saying, and return to this regularly to check in on if they have been doing the work.

Minor: Cultural appropriation

Graphic: Toxic friendship, Xenophobia, Misogyny, Cultural appropriation, Sexism, Gaslighting, and Racism
Moderate: Police brutality, Murder, Slavery, Gun violence, Genocide, and Colonisation
Minor: Racial slurs and Pandemic/Epidemic
There are uncomfortable topics covered by this book, but they are discussed as bad things, they're not encouraged or supported in the text. E.g. there are explicit examples of cultural appropriation, but the book is pointing out why this is wrong.
