It could have been so much more

I fell in love with Molly and Noah. This book could have given so much more but it was waaaaaaay to short. I wanted more.

for me

This book was really good. I wasn’t sure how much I would like it because I hated Molly in the original book as her climbing through the window was just like annoying to me but I liked it. It gave more background and since she is now an adult it was easier to like her. The book was good in the beginning and the middle. The ending was kind of lackluster. First it was rushed. Like I went like we didn’t get to see the events they were just told to us. Also they didn’t explain what Mollys new job actually is. Like it felt like the ending could have been wayyy better. With a better ending I would have given it a four. Endings are everything to me. But since it wasn’t very good I would say overall that the book is average so 3/5

Molly has worked at this facility for years. But with her new boss she had some proving to do as her new boss thinks she got the job solely based on her last name. So she’d jump through the hoops. Except she learns that the hoop happens to be Noah the guy she had an embarrassing past with at age 16. But she is damn good at her job. Noah is the machine. He doesn’t have time for anything but football. And Molly is definitely not an exception. Overprotective older brother, loving chaotic family. Stubborn football player. Easy fun read.

I loved this! This is the grumpy-sunshine story that I was after when I read The wall of Winnipeg and me.

I loved how the relationship blossomed. A beautiful story.

Nice story, loved the chemistry between Noah and Molly. A football story that gave me shades of the "Wall of Winnepeg" and Marina's stories. It had that vague familiarity, but in a good way.
Almost felt like I had read about these people in a different series before.

I am most curious about Logan and Paige's story- does that exist?

That was always what Molly had been to me. A weapon of mass destruction, testing every limit I’d ever given myself.

This was my first book by Karla Sorensen and it surely wasn’t my last. Even though I had some minor issues with it, this book was quite an entertaining and enchanting read.
The writing style captured my interest in this story right from the beginning, and once attached to the characters, I couldn’t put it down.
Loving these two characters came so easily and I was quite sad when the book ended. I could have read on and on for a few more hours.

Falling in love with you is the greatest thing I’ve ever done, Molly Ward.

However, I wished for a few more things to give this story a little more depth. I couldn’t quite catch why Noah became the way he did. Like what exactly did this first encounter 10 years ago and the uprooting with the move do to him, that he became so focused on football and nothing else around it? What influence has his father and their relationship? I loved the person Noah became around Molly, but who was he before that? I also wished for a little more resistance and a little more “bully” behavior (like pushing Molly more/harder away).
And there were some other smaller parts in their dynamic relationship I wished for a little more deep dive or for the characters to question things more.

Because sometimes, the best things in life come straight from your blind side.

Focused was a lovely romance with enticing characters that won my heart over with ease.

Just not worth my time. There was nothing good about it and it felt like a thousand of the other books I'd already read. Sorry.
