I am just so fascinated by animals and nature. This kind of book is so perfect for me: animals facts written in an easily digestible way, sprinkled with plenty of fun, humor, and beautiful drawings.
This is a fantastic little book a good assortment of unique animals and insects.
My only big complaint is that I wish the illustrations were in color!

Really informative and I enjoyed it in that aspect. However, I didn't really enjoy the authors overall writing style or the sometimes excruciatingly unfunny jokes that were at the end of every. single. entry.

A quick, accessible overview of a lot of lesser known creatures, often with some accompanying jokes. Not the resource you want for super in depth research but if you just want to brush up on your animal trivia, this is a great choice!

enjoyed learning about these animals but the random reference to the one child policy on the page about pandas threw me out of it completely... lmao like yes they have one cub but that felt weird
