It isn't a terrible overview of how the Catholic Calendar celebrates certain holidays and celebrations and why, but he does focus quite a bit on American holidays and even goes off on a tangent abut secular holidays. Why would I care about Flag day in a book about Catholic Holidays? For a rambling mess, with little rhyme or reason for the ordering to the book, it wasn't the worst book, and if you don't know anything about any Catholic holiday, this one will be a good one for you.
