Definitely thought this was a duology until the last 25%.
Overall enjoyed this one, but now I’m worried about a finale feeling too repetitive.

Also, while the lore building and increased magic was cool, I definitely hope we see a return to the dark academia in book 3

I’m still not sure how I feel about this book. Was I interested in it the whole time? Yes. Was I prepared for some lines (that came out of nowhere) in the book? No.

Overall, I think it was a solid read. Not my favorite, but not bad.
