Geek Love is a crazy, disturbing and thoroughly entertaining novel about a family that purposely tries to give birth to freak children in order to populate their circus sideshow act. Not for the faint of heart!

Interesting story but it took forever to read. The story didn't get me on the edge of my seat, just entertained enough. Good characters, just too much extra nonsense that wasn't needed. Overall it was just entertaining.

I feel sort of bad saying it was only ok.. I read it fairly quickly but it was more like a train wreck of a page turner.. I needed to find out what was going to happen.. but it wasn't all that great.. and I think the author realized that too.. and then just ended the book like BAM. eh..

Mixed feelings about this one. I found some of the characters really compelling, but the plotlines didn't tie together in a satisfying way for me. The ending felt a little anticlimactic, though the journey to get there is absolutely wild.
