I follow Blake on Twitter and found her book on KU.

If you like smutty filthy reads with a little
Bit of plot to tie together the smex/relationship, this is for you!

Classic grumpy sunshine, slight d/s feels, service motivated partners - all over yummy. Im happy I found it and I’d read it again if I owned it.

This is a short story of one escapade where Thayer as Protector of the Realm lives a isolated life while protecting the humans. He meets Finn and everything changes for him. Finn is unique personality. He is a bratty submissive with no shortage of words. Too bad Thayer can’t find as many words. Their relationship seems to be missing something and this is where Pavel comes into play. This is a short story that didn’t give me that much about the characters. It did have just enough to get the series started with a hfn and hopefully much more in the next book.
