Every now and then, I find someone/something that is just me. Just everything about them is everything thing I want. Nils Frahm is everything I want to listen to. I have a friend that's everything i want to hug. Noah Baumbach is everything I want to watch. Chicken is everyting I want to eat. Fredrick, I have finally decided (after 6 books), is everything I want to read.

Really no one is better at writing about humans than Fredrick. And he writes about the human experience with so much purity. Some might say this is overly idealistic. But the entire world is so crap, perhaps let me enjoy the little idealism left

I laughed so much while reading this

Fun, sad, sweet, relatable (despite being a Mum and not a Dad). I went from laughing, crying, and laughing again from beginning to end.

Everything this man writes is wonderful and this is no exception. His delivery of humor and insight keeps me smiling and laughing and some times tearing up the whole way through.

3.5 stars.this book is so funny and insightful I laughed out loud a number of times. My main complaint is that it felt truncated—- I wish there was more of it.
