Wow! Absolutely amazing!
These Bailey brothers are something else, they are EVERYTHING! Claire Kingsley just gets me every time with each book she writes. These characters are so real they become friends, you want to know everything about them, you want to hang out on a Monday night for Stitch and Sip and laugh with these women. You want to play pool at the Caboose with these men. You want to be a part of the Bailey family and get an animal name from Gram. But since you can’t really do any of these things, then do the next best thing, grab all these books and fall in love with them all. You aren’t going to have a choice.
Levi and Annika have so many things that should deter them from connecting, but they don’t let anything stop them. The raw emotion Claire gives these two is going to wreck you, and I haven’t even brought up the steam factor!
I really don’t know anyone who hasn’t read a Claire Kingsley book, but if you are out there you need to read this series, yes they are standalones, but there is a story that does travel through the whole series. So don’t miss out on each of the brother’s stories. Just don’t.

I am not okay. The book/series hangover is going to be hard to recover from!
I'm so happy I found this series, and that it happened so recently (three weeks before Rewriting the Stars)
I loved this book, the whole series and the way the story was resolved.
I loved the characters and am sad to say goodbye for now (until we get to see some more of the Havens that is)
The bonus epilogue sealed the deal, I'm almost in tears, and so thankful at how beautifully Claire brought things around full circle and did justice to her characters!
100% recommend this series!! As well as the preceding Miles series (for some crossover fun)

4.5⭐️
I’m not gonna lie, the first 30% was hard for me to get into. I’m not a huge fan of the star-crossed lovers trope (I always feel like the other shoe is going to drop and adds unnecessary stress to my reading experience), but Claire Kingsley has continued to surprise me with her writing. By the end of the book I was laughing and crying at the same time. I love how everything wrapped up nicely and that I can continue with the Haven brothers’ books.
I know that I enjoyed a series when I feel a little bit empty after reading the last book- and boy do I feel empty right now. Part of me is ready to start rereading book 1 just to experience this family all over again, but I don’t think anything will be able to compare to the first time reading about the love these brothers have for eachother, their Gram, wives, and children. While the romance was of course great, I kept coming back for that family and loved every single second of it.
This is by far one of my favorite series and Claire Kingsley just has a way with words that really pull at my heart. Great ending to a great series and I can’t wait to read more from her!
