A beautiful reflection and recounting from a person who knew that the end was coming, and wanted to think on what gave his life meaning. I'm thankful to my friend for gifting me this book. Sorely needed.

I knew what I was getting in to when I read the intro to this book. But that did not bring me nearly to the depths of how I would feel at 4:30AM this morning finishing this book unable to keep it together. As a husband, and as a relatively new father, I could not imagine the strength, and fortitude of Paul, and his family. I can't recommend this book highly enough purely for the fact that life is more important that academic success, money, status, etc. Rest in Peace Paul.

A fascinating memoir of a doctor searching his whole life for the meaning of it all and going through the stages of death.

I felt that the book was robotic and lacked feelings.
I understand the fact that he was in a rush.
I loved the book anyway
