An interesting, detailed book. Lots of explanation at times too much and occasionally slightly clunky. However I enjoyed the characters - Anna and Gerard as well as some of the smaller roles. Some repetition as though structured for serialisation. Interesting and enjoyable.

While I enjoyed the interactions between Gerald and Anna, I thought the writing was more for a younger audience. It was too simply written for my tastes, and I felt like I was reading a book for children but with some mature subjects.
