I think I'd get more out of this book if I read it in print over again. It was a great audiobook, and Ken Robinson was a good reader, but I could go over the quizzes easier with the print version in front of me.

A lovely, straightforward workbook to help people think about, and transition to, fulfilling lives (and work lives). If you've seen Sir Ken Robinson's TED talks or read his previous books, you'll be familiar with his ideas. The strength of this book is the prompts, questions and challenges at the end of each chapter that do a wonderful job of leading the reader into a deep reflection.

Pairs well with Dan Cumberland's book The Calling Process.

Right, so this didn’t suck? It’s not like it’s changed my life or anything, and I definitely skipped entire sections when my eyes got bored, but it’s given me a nice little boost of motivation to just keep going (nothing too intense) and stay happy.

I admit I was initially really turned off the subject and the book after the first two chapters. They weren't the best writing and he kept moving between personal voice, 2nd person and quoting other people. The writing got much better third chapter on. The entire book was basically an outline of all the research, quotes and peoples stories he has collected on the subject. However, the organization was put together well and it made for good thoughtful reading. I did enjoy the activities and the questions throughout the book. If you truly write out all the exercises you get quite a bit out of this book in thinking about your own self and what you have to offer. I read this at a point in my life that I have branched out and started delving into my passion and I felt encouraged to continue down that path as I read this book.

Great for an existential crisis. :)
Heads up that there are exercises throughout the book so the audiobook, though narrated by the author, is not ideal.

Like many books of this sort, I think there was a good deal of good information and anecdotes, and less directly applicable steps to figuring stuff out for yourself. Which is fine. Still enjoyed it.

With a title like that, I certainly expected a lot more. Most of this, you probably heard from your HS guidance counselor minus the stories about people who didn't need this book to discover their talents and passions. Would not recommend.
