This is one of the best books I have ever read. The writing is perfect, the story is beautiful and each ‘twist’ caught me genuinely by surprise. Everyone should read this at least once in their lives!

A rare gem of a book that pulls readers into the life of an inexplicably complex woman. It becomes difficult to read at times, if only because we feel we know Evelyn so deeply throughout her story. In the difficulty of the final pages, though, lies this story’s magic. Reid holds her reader in skilled hands, and somehow makes Evelyn Hugo as unforgettable as if she was a true beloved icon of Hollywood.

One of my tops reads of the year. I love books that take you back in time when things weren’t as simple or black and gray. Also love the twist at the end. This will definitely be a book I keep revisiting.

A really excellent book and fast paced gripping read

aw :”(

well. this book just cemented my belief that the single most important thing in life is the relationships that we have. so make sure you don’t waste your time chasing superfluous things like money and fame. sure, those are great, but don’t choose them over time with your loved ones.
