Good. A bit confusing, but an interesting world. I love Silla, loved Rey, hated Jonas.

Very interesting. Started off fairly slow, but ended up really enjoying the world building and generally learning stuff as the FMC learned it. I’m looking forward to continuing the series.

I really tried with this one. The premise was pretty good but the buildup was going at snails pace and I have come to the conclusion that I don’t care enough about how the book ends to force myself to finish it and probably give it a not so great rating. The creatures that were mentioned were super fun to read about honestly, so I enjoyed that aspect. I also thought that touching on drug addiction in a fantasy book was unique and I haven’t seen that done before, but I also don’t read a lot of fantasy. I think I’m just very picky with this genre, as I have yet to find an adult fantasy that I LOVE. Someday hopefully…

Not the book’s fault, but couldn’t stand the narrator’s voice, sounded like a British Moira Rose 🙃
