This was a cute, lighthearted romance that had me laughing out loud. This is the second book in the Love Cliches story and though they kept me waiting on our happily ever after until I was convinced it would never come, the end was worth the wait. I look forward to continuing the series.

2.5-ish stars?
i’ll be real, this wasn’t the kinda book i typically like since i don’t really care for age-gap romances but all the taylor swift references

I enjoyed this more than the first book. Again, a nice pallet cleanser.

Emma St. Clair has found her niche with these latest romcoms! I LOVED Zoey and Gavin and their story. Falling for your boss and not acting on it for two years?! Excellent trope, adorable couple, sexy scenes and clean too! Each story in this series keeps getting better… highly recommend this read for a fun and flirty time this summer!

An extremely low 3/5 stars, practically almost 2/5 when the first book was a solid 3/5 stars.

From the, “I’d like to start grooming you” comment, to the “sleeping with goats” - there was just a L.O.T going on in this book. I may have whiplash.
I did appreciate the drama happening in Gavin’s noggin though.
