This is the sequel we knew we needed.
Seven years after the release of The Way I Used To Be, author Amber Smith is sharing more of Eden's story.
Thank you to Simon & Schuster Canada for my gifted copy for review.
The Way I Am Now picks up with Eden and Josh reuniting, and working on a relationship. They're attending college in a different town, with new challenges and opportunities.
Looming in the dark wings, though, is Eden's hearing for the sexual assault we read about in The Way I Used To Be.
The characters are the same, but they've grown, matured.
Some plot points remain a bit up in the air, but personally I'm hoping that means we as readers will be privvy to another book someday!
For readers of The Way I Used To Be - absolutely recommended!
For release on Nov. 7.

I received this ARC from the bookstore where I work, and immediately started reading it while still on my shift. I’ve been waiting for the sequel patiently and it was everything I wished for and more. This sequel and the first book mean so much to me, I see myself in Eden and her experiences and growth in this book moved me to tears. This is such an amazing book and an incredibly important story I think everyone should read!
