I liked this story. It was a little preachy at times, but on the whole a good story. The only thing that really irked me was the use of modern language! This is supposed to be Regency England, yet the author used language from the present including Americanized scriptures. Please, please, please, if you are writing a Regency story, please have the decency to stay as true to the time period as possible and at very least use the King James version of the Bible. (Okay, off my soap box for now! :))

This book brought out all the emotions, at times, causing me to close it and leave the room, for fear of damaging the page with my tears. It moved along so nicely, telling the sweet story of three children adjusting to a life without their parents, and the guardian who had been entrusted with their care. So charming, it made me want to enter their world and visit for a week or more.

I really wanted to like this book more than I did. It’s so dialogue heavy and it can make it hard to follow at times, along with making it feel longe than it is.

The Proposal by Lori Wick – Falling for the nanny may be a cliché, but this one is super sweet! Happy Reading!

It was good. Nice plot line... I teared up a couple times. Really loved the ending in how it all came together.

A decent series. Entertaining but not overly engaging or exciting. Definitely predictable
