This only got a 3.5 just because it didn't have time to build up a huge narrative to pay off etc. It's a delightful read that stuck the landing in every way it wanted to. Very cute and cozy. 3.5/5

It is funny to mention how much I missed reading about Molly the Maid. Despite her quirkiness and lack of social awareness, the writing manages to present a sense of mystery even with an expected ending to this novella. Obviously, it is not one of the best mysteries compared to the novels, but this is a nice short read next to a Christmas tree or if you simply wish to know how Molly is doing.

After reading The Mistletoe Mystery, I am more eager to read the upcoming third novel, The Maid’s Secret, coming out next month! I want to thank my local public library for having this book available.

This was a fun, fast-paced story about Molly the Maid and her lovely boyfriend, Juan. As the title suggests, it's a Christmas story with a happy ending :)
