Having been to Prague, it adds to the contrast of Gregors transformation and the city around him. The city is one of the most intact from World War Two, it’s beautiful and colorful, if this had happened to take place in Budapest for example the family would have no problem having Gregor run around the city unsheathed, he would blend in with its gothic seediness but a giant bug in Prague of all places?
