Ok, so hear me out, you gotta stick with this one for the character growth, because in the beginning, the main characters are FRUSTRATING. But that’s the point, they grow so much. Also spicy werewolf stuff lol. Check the warnings list though because there was some potentially triggering stuff in here (but it was all handled well, so major props). Additionally, the narration was wonderful, but I do wish they would’ve done their own lines in each other’s chapters because Shedlock’s girl voice is hilarious and it took me out of the story (sorry).

I really really enjoyed this!

So fun to read a contemporary paranormal book - we need more!

Very deep and interesting characters and also setting, in North Florida. I really loved seeing something different from the USA. It was wonderfully descriptive of the environment.

I also loved seeing the MMC (Devon) be challenged. It was nice to see the omnipresent "wolf" (that second being inhabiting the characters body as always happens in shifter books) come to the forefront and be more of a character.

Age gap but they are older - he's 42, she's 34.

Grumpy sunshine where she's the grump and he's the sunshine. I loved watching him be so sweet and kind and respectful about pronouns, but also being a big headed show off dick.

Endometriosis representation as well ❤️

Kind of wanted more sex? Also partially shifted sex would have been fun but I am a weirdo and maybe that wasn't what the author was going for. I also wanted a bit more epilogue or something after all the drama had settled.

I had some hesitancies going into this book simply because of some early reviews, but it was legitimately one of the most fun books I've read this year! It had comedy and unseriousness and all the little tidbits and little doodads that reminded me of my teenage years!

Devin and Alex had such an interesting relationship, and I think Rosie did a great job at their timeline and change from celebrity/fan to a romantic relationship! Getting to see Alex's edits from the Wiki page of Devin's TV show (I LOVED these little in-between chapter segments, I was a BIG wiki girlie for my tv shows!) was so fun, and it was interesting to see how the articles tied into the story's development.

I did knock half a star off due to the third-act conflict feeling a bit forced and rushed, but I did enjoy how Rosie wrote the ending and how Alex and Devin ended up together!

I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a fun read to get out of a slump or anyone in the mood for a fun time!!

A very fun take on the werewolf plot line. It was a lot of fun, the characters were interesting and engaging, the chemistry was good and I loved the way they handled the werewolf parts. This one is really for the millennial girlies who grew up on twilight and vampire diaries. It dragged a little in the middle, but overall was a fun read.

I really enjoyed this confident, fun, sexy, silly romance! The character development in this was some of the best I’ve read in the genre, both leads were very fleshed out and had clear motivations, shortcomings, and personalities. I loved that it was trope-y but in a way that felt earned (grumpy/sunshine, but like realistic feeling!). The wolf aspect was fun and made for good plot momentum, it made for an extra horny time. And it also kind of explored deeper themes about fandom, capitalism ruining tv shows, queer baiting, and also some wolf conservation sprinkled in there, too! So it really had a lot going for it, and the audiobook experience really helped flesh it out further. Would highly recommend, even if romance is not usually your genre!

Absolutely for the fandom girlies. I felt transported back to the Tumblr days and how that time has shaped me as an adult lol. Was it the best written book? nah, but it was a lot of fun. Well done AO3/ff vibes.
